Question 6 - What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

What have you learned about technologies from the process of constructing this product?
Technology
This is the DSLR camera that I used I had no knowledge of using it at first but I developed my skills the more I used it and gradually became better.

This is the DSLR camera on the tripod this was new to me as I have never used a tripod before however it was convenient to use and self explanatory.
This is me using the DSLR camera on the tripod.

I had to use the mac a lot and this was completely new to me however growing up with technology makes it easier to function as I am used to using different types of technology.
This is me using premiere this was difficult to use as I have never edited anything before and never used a complex software however after getting enough experience using it, I was able to edit various projects including our thriller opening sequence.

This is photoshop we had to use this to create our production company logo from scratch. I found photoshop difficult to use but with support from others I was able to pick up techniques to create a successful logo.
I also used YouTube. I was familiar with YouTube and was therefore able to embed videos and upload videos without a problem.

I used blogger throughout the whole year where I created posts based on my media coursework. Blogger was new to me but it was easy to function and enjoyable to use.

I also used TubeChop where I was able to trim videos and embed it onto my blog. I found this simple to use.

This is me using Prezi. Prezi is a useful website to use where I could present work in a different and visual way and then embed it onto my blog. This website was simple to use but sometimes had difficulty trying to embed it.

This is another useful website to present work in a colourful visual way. This was a bubble map creator and instead of drawing it out practically, you could create digitally on the internet. This was easier and more interesting than conducting a bubble map practically.

The Opening Sequence

This was a pull focus in our opening sequence. This was done by using the manual focus on the DSLR camera. We had to take a few shot of this as it was quite difficult to get this shot perfect. This was because when the focus wheel was turned too much it became blurry again but after a few attempts it became easier to achieve.

This is a dutch tilt shot in our opening sequence. This was done by using the handle on the tripod and it turned the actual camera around. We did this so it would disorientate the audience and be confused by the character which is shown in the shot.

We used the tripod the create this shot. This shot follows the actions of the character throwing down the chair which gives us the impression that this character is mad or angry.
