Casting

These are the actors that will be casting in our thriller opening sequence. They give us a little information about what their character is like and what they will be wearing in the opening sequence to give the audience an insight of what their character is like.

Locations, Props and Costumes

This is mainly where we will be filming in the front room by the desk this is to show Stevie's actions and what he does and he also look peeks out of the curtains as he is paranoid.

This is a still the front room but from the other angle and this will show the setting and the environment that Stevie lives in.

This is a few of the props that Stevie will be using. Stevie will be writing notes on this paper with the pencil of the people outside his house and then he will stick it on his noticeboard.

This is another prop. No one will be using it but there will be a shot of Stevie's past where there is blood on the knife and it will show Stevie's mum which suggests that she has been murdered.

This is a mug that will have tea in it this shows that Stevie rarely goes to bed but instead stay up all night making notes about people and doing strange things.

This is the hallway and at then end of it is a door and this will show the hoodies coming up to the door and intimidating Stevie.

This is also the hallway but from another angle and the camera could pan and again show the setting and environment that Stevie lives in.

This is outside of Stevie's house and it shows the people that walk by it and there will be a shot where Stevie is peeking through the curtains and you will be able to just about see his figure in the front window.

This is also outside Stevie's house but also there is a tree this will be showing the hoodies loitering outside Stevie's house and causing trouble.

These are the costumes that the characters will be wearing.

This is the suit that the Upper working class character will be wearing. This will show that he is smart and is heading off to a serious place which could be work.

Animatic

This is our animatic that will outline what our opening sequence is going to be like. This helps us as when we go to film the opening sequence it shows us the exact shots that we need to produce effective work. The animatic also shows us roughly how long our opening sequence is going to be. From the animatic there are varied shot types to make a successful opening sequence.

Script

The character is just a normal everyday person going to work. We know this character states 'I'm late for work'.
Stevie takes notes and takes pictures of this person which shows is paranoia as it is just a regularly normal person walking past his house.
The hoodies create the representation that they just loiter. They cause disturbance for Steve as they play music quite loud which affects Steve and causes him to break down. Some of the hoodies then come back later and break in and Stevie feels like that people are out to get him.

Storyboards

This storyboard is at the beginning of the opening sequence and it shows a range of different shot types. There is a focus pull which cold suggest to the audience that there is something off about the character. There is a shot where it shows the notice board full of notes, showing that this is what the character gets up to.

These are the shots that we will be using roughly during the middle of the opening sequence. We don't have a final decision on the exact order they are going in yet but that is roughly what order it will be in maybe with a few changes.

This storyboard is towards the end of the opening sequences there are a range of different types of shots. There is a close up of the character's face showing his expressions.

This is the story board that is at the beginning and it shows the setting and this character's environment. It shows that the character lives in quite a mess and suggests that he has other priorities to be getting on with. He seems to be focusing on writing notes on his desk.
This storyboard is at the end the end of the opening sequence and it shows the character breaking down. During these shots there will be sound playing which would be the dubstep wobble to show the character breaking down.

Storyboards are important as we are able to plan and outline the whole opening sequence. Through the use of storyboards we are able to visualise what our opening sequence will be like.
