Evaluation

This is an evaluation of some of the shots that we have taken so far.

In shot 1 the camera is quite shaker which we will need to refine and improve on another day when filming. The sunlight coming through the curtains affects our opening sequence slightly as it is difficult to show signs of low key lighting so we may have to consider filming a bit later during the day when it gets a bit darker to make further improvement to this shot.

Shot 2 shows a pull focus technique which makes the shot quite effective. However the camera is quite shaky towards the end and perhaps the framing isn't quite perfect therefore we may have to improve on this shot at a later date.

Shot 3 shows quite an effective over the shoulder shot. However the shot is slightly out of focus.

We improved the shot above by keeping everything in focus and the shot looks a lot more clearer.

Fake Blood

Making Fake Blood

Ingredients:
Water
Golden Syrup
Food Colourings (Red, Green and Blue)
Flour

Step 1
Combine water and the golden syrup and mix in a bowl.

Step 2
Add drops of red food colouring then mix it together.

Step 3
Add a little bit of blue or green food colouring to get a more realistic shade of blood.

Step 4
Sift the flour and add to the mixing bowl to make the blood thicker giving it a realistic look.

We will be using this fake blood within our opening sequence approximately half way through the sequence.
